Ball Seed’s Culture Research Manager Dr. Nathan Jahnke uses applied research in the greenhouse to drive innovation and find solutions. Whether it’s directly improving how customers grow their own crops or leveling up production strategies for the greenhouses that supply them, he is dedicated to producing high-quality crops using the most cutting-edge methods.

If Nick Flax looks familiar, it’s because he’s been featured in many Ball Tech On Demand videos. One of his passions is creating easy-to-use tools like training videos to help growers solve problems. As the team’s Technical Services Specialist, he’s skilled in the field of horticulture but really is the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to greenhouse challenges.
Dr. Josh Henry
Josh Henry is a Ball Seed Technical Specialist with a background and education in horticulture with an emphasis on plant nutrition. He focuses on precision and his ability to effectively communicate solutions to diagnose problems while working and building key relationships with greenhouse growers.
Dr. Chris Ferguson
With a background in agronomic seed treatment, fertilizer, and crop protection, Chris Ferguson is a Ball Seed Technical Specialist with advanced degrees in horticulture. He also has experience in commercial technical support and looks forward to working with greenhouse growers, as well as Ball Seed suppliers and sales reps.
